The energy market is full of offers that are too good: cargoes that don't exist, intermediaries referring each other in circles, documentation that falls apart at the first check. Anyone who has been in this market for more than a few years recognises the pattern. We assess every counterparty before a letter of intent reaches the table, and we walk away from transactions that don't add up — even when that costs us business.
